Emergency Room (ER) Nurse — Night Shift — Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ER Nurse will deliver acute patient care, manage diverse medical emergencies, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: ER RN - 12-Hour Nights (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with every other weekend shifts (Friday and Saturday). Call rotation required.
- Specialty: Emergency Room
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). Must have a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience and at least 1 year of prior travel ER experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, certification requirements as listed, and at least 1 year prior travel experience in the ER.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to Psychiatric Hold areas is preferred.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be able to work every other weekend, participate in call rotation, and potentially float to Psychiatric Hold areas. IVS to interview with the manager to offer. During the assignment, the nurse is considered part of the unit and may be required to work additional hours as needed to ensure coverage.
