Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) — This position is located within a healthcare facility specializing in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care. Job Details
- Education/Skills: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy is required. Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure is required. BLS certification from AHA is required.
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Texas Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
- Schedule: 5 Days, 8 Hours, 40.0 Hours Per Week.
- Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure, BLS certification from AHA, 3.0 years of experience.
- Responsibilities include performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting patient care, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, counseling patients and families, supervising student and volunteer programs, and supporting departmental performance improvement initiatives.
- Additional Information: Involves inpatient care, supervision of staff and students, and contribution to community resource awareness. Adherence to departmental policies and the organization’s core values is essential.
