Job Summary
Operating Room Specialist — The organization is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) specialist for a healthcare facility in the area. This position involves circulating and scrub duties across various surgical specialties, including general surgery, neuro, ENT, orthopedics, and kidney transplants, with a strong preference for scrub expertise. The role is primarily scheduled for evening shifts, with coverage spanning 10-hour shifts over a 13-week period.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certification in circulating and scrub roles within the Operating Room, with at least 1 year of related experience required.
- Schedule: Evenings, 10-hour shifts, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The position runs from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026.
- Responsibilities: Circulating and scrubbing for a variety of procedures including orthopedics, neuro, ENT (primarily head & neck), general surgery, bariatric, trauma, robotic surgery, and organ transplants. The OR team manages inpatient Level I trauma cases and complex surgical procedures.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates should be able to circulate in the operating room across multiple surgical disciplines and be prepared for weekly orientation sessions. No local travel candidates will be accepted, and parking costs may apply.
