Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Gallatin, TN. This position involves providing specialized tech support within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role includes monitoring cases, assisting in patient workup and recovery, and supporting vascular and cardiac procedures in a Level III Trauma Center.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days with On Call; 8-hour shifts; weekly guaranteed hours of 40.
- Certifications: BLS, RT; Certification/licensure required to work as a Cath Lab Tech in Tennessee; RCIS Certificate or RT degree.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Responsibilities include monitoring cases, transporting patients, assisting in workup and recovery, stocking departments, and supporting various cardiology procedures such as caths, pacemakers, permacaths, ports, and leg cases (vascular).
- Additional notes: May monitor cases, transport patients, assist in workup and recovery, stock department, etc.
- Unit Information: Services all ages, with a focus on vascular and cardiac procedures.
- Dress code: Facility provides scrubs; casual wear or branded clothing are unacceptable.
