Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) for a position in Arcadia, CA. This assignment involves providing surgical and pre-operative patient care, primarily with orthopedic surgeries such as total hip, knees, and spine/neuro procedures, as well as general non-invasive surgeries. The role requires adaptability to a dynamic surgical environment and may include emergency craniotomies. The travel nurse will support a busy OR unit on dayshift hours for a duration of 13 weeks.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Days, 08:00-16:00, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BSN, RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), minimum 2 years of experience in OR/surgery, at least 1 year of travel experience, California location requirement, scheduled start date of 09/21/2026, end date of 12/19/2026, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic surgeries (total hip, knees, and Spine/Neuro), emergency craniotomies, and general non-invasive surgeries.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be prepared for emergency surgeries. Personal or medical exemptions are accepted for flu vaccination, but masks are required during exemption periods.
