Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse is needed at a general healthcare facility for a temporary assignment. This position involves working day shifts in a busy hospital environment, with responsibilities including scrubbing and circulating in the operating room. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Electronic Medical Records experience with EPIC, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, strong background in orthopedics, spine, and robotics. Must have scrubbing and circulating experience in the operating room.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential.
- Additional Information: Orientation period is one week. Must be separated from the organization for at least six months to be eligible. No local candidates will be accepted. Candidates must be able to scrub and circulate in hours. Consistent with facility requirements, candidates must meet the outlined qualifications and experience to be considered.
