Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Farmington, Connecticut. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment during night shifts. The RN will participate in patient treatment, clinical procedures, and work as part of a dynamic healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute); minimum of 2 years of clinical emergency room experience; 1 year of prior travel ER experience; must have a valid nursing license; location in Connecticut; preferred candidates will have experience floating to psych hold areas
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel ER experience, strong patient care skills in trauma scenarios, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Float: Float rotation to psych hold areas may be required during certain shifts
- Additional Information: Mandatory overtime may be required as part of the assignment. The RN will be considered a key member of the unit's rotation pool, covering additional hours on an as-needed basis. The assignment includes an auto offer with three days or less of reason-to-lose time and no holiday RTO requests.
