Here, Sarai shares why she decided to become a school psychologist, what she enjoys most about working with the Cross Country Education team and schools, and what advice she has for school psychologists embarking on their careers.</p><h3>Why did you become a bilingual school psychologist?</h3><p>I became a bilingual school psychologist to help make a difference in the lives of all students. I have worked with students from many different backgrounds, even countries, and to be able to make a connection with them as well as help them figure out why they are struggling to learn the academic materials is an indescribable feeling. I’m not a bilingual school psychologist to receive recognition; the only recognition that I believe is important is knowing that the students that I have assessed and/or provided services to are making progress in their overall well-being.</p><h3>What do you like about Cross Country Education?</h3><p>What I like about Cross Country Education is the flexibility. I am a single mother of 3 so flexibility is huge. Being able to create my own schedule and still be present in my children’s day to day activities means so much to me.</p><h3>What have you liked about your experience working as a bilingual school psychologist at CCE schools?</h3><p>I have worked for Cross Country Education (formerly Mediscan Inc and DirectEd Services) for over 7 years. Throughout the years, I have worked with many different school sites ranging from elementary to high school.
