<p>Cross Country Education collaborates with talented educators from across the country to motivate students to achieve success. This month, we are featuring Alianna M., a Behavior Aide. Learn about Alianna's motivations, her favorite parts of working with us, and her advice for new Behavior Aides.</p>

<h2> Why did you become a Behavior Aide?</h2>
<p>I became a BII because I’ve always had a passion for helping students, especially those who need a little extra support. Working in education allows me to make a direct impact on students’ lives, whether it’s helping them grasp a difficult concept or supporting their social and emotional growth. I’ve always found fulfillment in seeing the progress students make, no matter how small. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I played a part in their success, especially when working with students who have special needs. I enjoy the challenge and the deep sense of purpose that comes from helping students overcome obstacles. Another reason I took on this role is that it gives me valuable experience in the classroom. I see this as a stepping stone in my career, and it’s been a great way to build my skills, especially in managing a diverse classroom and understanding the unique needs of each student. Plus, the flexible schedule has been a great bonus, allowing me to balance other aspects of my life while still being involved in education.</p>

<h2> What do you like about Cross Country Education?</h2>
<p>What I like about Cross Country Education is the flexibility they offer and the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings. It gives me the chance to meet and work with different students, teachers, and schools, which has helped me grow professionally and adapt to new environments quickly. I appreciate how supportive they are, making sure I’m placed in roles that match my skills and preferences, and providing resources to help me succeed. The variety is what keeps things fresh—I never feel like I’m stuck in a routine. Plus, knowing that I’m helping schools and students who really need it is incredibly fulfilling. It’s great to be part of an organization that values making a positive impact on education.</p>

<h2> What have you liked about your experience working at schools with Cross Country Education?</h2>
<p>What I’ve liked most about my experience working at schools with Cross Country Education is the diversity of environments I’ve been exposed to. Every school has its own unique culture, and that has allowed me to learn new approaches to teaching and student engagement. I enjoy the challenge of adapting to different classroom settings and meeting students from all walks of life.</p>

<h2> What kind of advice would you give to those starting out in your field?</h2>
<p>My advice for those starting out is to be patient and flexible because each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Building strong relationships with students and staff is key, and don’t hesitate to ask for help or guidance when needed. Stay positive, observe and learn from others, and focus on making small but meaningful impacts—those moments really add up.</p>
