    I became a teacher to help students achieve their goals, despite their
    circumstances. I admired my 8th grade teacher and the way she taught and
    allowed her students to be expressive, in a creative way. That is when I
    realized that I wanted to become a teacher.

    helpful staff.

    What have you liked about your experience working at schools with Cross

  </h3>

    What I like about my experience (working at schools with Cross Country
    Education) is being able to collaborate with other teachers, staff members,
    and the school community. I enjoy working with a diverse range of
    individuals and getting to know them along the way. Most of the people that
    I meet tend to have a common goal of wanting to make a difference in the
    community.

    What advice would you give to those just starting out as teachers?&nbsp;
  </h3>

  <div>
    I have been a teacher for 10 years. My best advice for those who are
    starting out in this field is to be patient, and don&#39;t give up! Also,
    don&#39;t be afraid to be flexible or try different roles within education.
    Sometimes this job/career can be difficult, but with time and experience,
    you&#39;ll realize what works for you.&nbsp;
