<h3>Why did you become a Behavior Analyst?</h3>
<p>I decided to become a Behavior Analyst in special education because I saw the potential for making a significant impact on students' lives through a scientifically grounded approach. Special Education often involves unique challenges, and by applying the principles of behavior analysis, I can develop tailored interventions that address these challenges more effectively. I’m passionate about the idea of facilitating meaningful change in a way that is both evidence-based and adaptable to individual needs. The science of behavior aligns with my belief in the power of change and offers a structured framework for achieving it in less time.</p>

<p>I value working with Cross Country Education because the organization prioritizes the needs of educators and their students, creating a supportive and positive experience.</p>

<p>I appreciate working with Cross Country Education because it offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse range of individuals, schools, and communities. This diversity enriches my work by allowing me to tailor behavior change strategies to different settings, which enhances their effectiveness and generalization. Additionally, Cross Country Education excels in fostering collaboration, creating an environment where working together with ease is the norm. This collaboration is crucial for developing creative solutions and achieving effective outcomes in behavior intervention.</p>
<h3>What kind of advice would you give to those starting out in your field?</h3>
<p>My best advice for those starting out in the field is to maintain an open mind. It's important not to be too rigid in your approach, as there are many talented professionals out there with innovative ideas who share the same ultimate goals. Additionally, building a supportive network of colleagues can be incredibly beneficial. Having a group to bounce ideas off of, ask questions, and seek support from can make a significant difference, especially since our field can be quite challenging. This support system can provide valuable insights and encouragement as you navigate your career.</p>
