February is Black History Month, an opportunity for all of us here at Cross Country to reflect upon the complex struggles and unique achievements of Black Americans and to further awareness of challenges faced in the Black community every day, especially in the space of healthcare and health equity.

February is Black History Month, an opportunity for all of us here at Cross Country to reflect upon the complex 
 struggles and unique achievements of Black Americans and to further awareness of challenges faced in 
 the Black community every day, especially in the space of healthcare and health equity.

First established in 1926 as Black History Week, this annual celebration of achievements
 by Black Americans was then sponsored by an organization now known as the Association
 for the Study of African American Life and History, founded by Harvard-trained 
 historian Carter G. Woodson and minister Jesse. E. Moorland. The observance was 
 expanded into a full Black History Month in 1976.

We are fortunate to be part of an industry that has prioritized diversity, 
 equity, and inclusion, and we are strongly committed to doing our part to raise the 
 bar both internally at Cross Country as well as in the industry at large.

Throughout the month, we will be sharing content and resources to highlight 
 these challenges and achievements several featuring some of our Cross Country 
 colleagues, and we invite you to take part in the conversation.
