Cross Country specializes in offering Locum Tenens and Permanent Physician and APP opportunities across the United States. Job Details & Requirements

  • Work Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed - ongoing  (Inpatient)
  • Preferred Schedule: 24 hour in house OB call  6 days per month
  • Worksite Setting: Hospital
  • Scope of Work: In need of 6 days of call coverage per month. Restricted inhouse, 24 hour OB call. Due to volume, provider will have a post call day after each call day. Weekend call is Fri & Sun. In addition to deliveries, locum will need to address any GYN emergencies. 5-10 inpatient census. Maternal Fetal Medicine & GYN Oncology services available.
  • Circumcisions required.  
  • low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation, OB ultra sounds level 1 and 2, Amniocentesis, routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision making for c-section); Complicated delivery (c section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations); Surgical Gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic - minor only- tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubaton; operative major (includes diagnostic) Ectopic gregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs).  Level 2 trauma center, 4 RNs, 7 MAs, 4 NP/PAs,  Provider will be required to supervise APP providers.  5-10 patients seen per daym 3-5 admits per day
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: WI license, DEA, BLS, PALS, 
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Pay Rate Preferred: 24 hr in house $4000
