Physician / Family Medicine

• Work Dates Needed: Start as soon as credentialed - July 31st with possibility of extension
• Preferred Schedule: M-F 8a-5p with option for four days of 10-hr shifts; one Sat per month for a 5-hr shift.
• Worksite Setting: Staff Physician - Internal Medicine - Primary care medical services.  60% clinic time, 40% administrative time to support all primary care providers with sleep medicine and other specialty care consultations, etc.. manages assigned patient panel and work closely with medical director on improving specialty care consultation services
• Scope of Work: Records patient medical history, examinations, execution of various tests, analyses, and diagnostic procedures.  Documentation in medical records, reporting findings, and analysis.  administers and prescribes treatment and drugs.  Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize against communicable disease; advise patients on prevention; may provide prenatal care to pregnant women and postnatal care to mother and infant if applicable.  Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment; minor procedures; house / emergency calls to attend patients unable to visit office, continuity of care, physical examinations, and quality management metrics. 
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: CA License, BC in IM, valid CPR cert., leadership and/or management skills preferred; Previous exp. with computer based systems required, electronic medical records exp preferred; bilingual preferred
• EMR: EPIC
