Physician / Emergency Medicine

• Preferred Schedule: 10-12 Hour Night Shift Only
• Scope of Work: Emergency Medicine,
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BC, BE in EM, no exceptions, active North Carolina license, ABEM/AOBEM, ACLS required if not ABEM certified, COVID vaccine/exemption required
• *WILL CONSIDER ABFM AND ABIM FOR ALL SITES EXCEPT MAIN LOCATION
• Annual Patient Volume: Mission > 100k | All other facilities < 25k
• Patients per Hour: 2-3
• ED Bed Count: 90 at Mission | <14 at all other facilities
• Shift Times / Coverage Details: Depends on the facility – some sites are 10hours and some are 12-hours.
• APC Hours of Coverage: 70/day at Mission | 10-12 at all other facilities
• Scribe Coverage: None
• Dictation available for locums: Dragon
• EMR: Cerner
• Admitting Orders: Is the ED Physician responsible for writing the orders?  Only the admission order (not treatment orders) and only at night for the regional facilities.
• Trauma Center Designation: Level II
