- Work Dates Needed: ASAP with 90 days credential - 6 months to 1 year
- Preferred Schedule: M- F 7:30 - 6pm and 24 on call. 1 -2 weeks at a time every month or every other month
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient & inpatient 24/7 call
- Scope of Work: An oral surgeon's scope of work encompasses a wide range of procedures focused on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects of the head, neck, face, jaws, and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. This includes performing tooth extractions, including complex wisdom tooth removal, and placing dental implants. They also manage and treat facial trauma, such as jaw and facial bone fractures. Additionally, oral surgeons diagnose and treat oral pathology, including cysts and tumors. Oral surgeons have on-call responsibilities on the campus.
