Position Overview:

  • Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction that connects academic concepts to real-life situations.
  • Monitor progress using formal/informal evaluations and maintain accurate documentation for IEP implementation and state compliance.
  • Partner with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom that promotes student engagement and emotional safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
    • Master’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Knowledge of Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (EEEI) and willingness to attend staff development
