Position Overview: 

  • Serve as the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Teacher for a self-contained classroom providing specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to focus on teaching both academic subjects and functional life skills.

Qualifications: 

  • Florida Professional Educator's Certificate with an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) endorsement.
  • Experience working in both an ESE and General Education setting with students on the autism spectrum
